A few notes:
-Born in Galway (Ireland) in 1979, moved to Australia at age 6 and now lives in Sydney. In recent years has adopted the role of collector, salvaging fragments from various locations and sources and arranging them according to sets of criteria. Uses processes of collecting, mapping and archiving to search for meanings in the ways that places are represented.
-Current collection Cartonography focuses on the Australian fruit carton.
-Interest in the Irish landscape originates from childhood experiences on the farms of late grandparents' in Co. Louth and Co. Roscommon. Each of these locations is steeped in significant mythologies and histories. The fragments collected from grandparents' farm in Boyle, Roscommon, were made into compositions to form the project Monuments of Fiction, shown in Sydney and Melbourne in 2013.
-In 2013-14 founded and operated Breezeblock, an exhibition space in Kings Cross, Sydney.
-In 2014 undertook a residency at the Fire Station Artist Studios, Dublin, and exhibited the Rockingham project at Roscommon Arts Centre, which included the installation of a public work Constellation (2014).
